My name is Errol McLendon, like Errol Flynn. I have been an actor and director in Chicago for the last 30 years, having been a member of three theatre companies. My stories have been heard at Backroom Stories, Do Not Submit, This Much is True, Serving the Sentence, online at the Elmhurst History Museum web site and I am a recent winner of The Moth Slam. I have been telling stories for a while and realized out of the 58 stories I tell, 33 of them happen on the road. That led me to create my solo show, Inner State, a tribute to those wonderful road trips we all made as kids and the value of past memories when recent memories start to fade.
